I am(M-22) wid Infosys(India) as S/w engg for over a year. I ve made my mind to go for grad in USA. I am facing a dilemma in making my choice btwn MS in CS and MBA in IT/ Systems. Client i work for is a reputed bank. My area is RISK and will continue to work in this portfolio for as long as i continue with infosys. am an oracle certified associate (1z0 007 & 1z0 0031).I have a gud understanding of warehousing life cycle & been using oracle/perl/unix/ so far for ETL purposes. I also have strong understanding of the fundamentals of banking & fin. sector and am looking to continue in future also in the same area and also prefer IT industry to others. If i do an MS i wud apply for fall 09(completing 2 yrs wid infosys) but i might always want to add MBA later on to it. but then when will i settle down in this scenario? If MBA am considering fall 2010 or fall 2011. Now tell me if I shud 1) work 2-3 years more wid infy n go for MBA 2)do MS next year n forget MBA 3) MS in CS n thn MBA in IT

I need to write a simple Windows application to extract metadata from audio files of various formats. I d normally use Perl to accomplish this- but need a lightweight- stand-alone application which rules Perl out. The program will need two browse buttons to select directories and an OK button for batch processing- as well as being able to include whatever extra libraries may be necessary to read the metadata. What will be easiest for me to learn for this simple task? I know Perl- Javascript- and very- very limited C++. Please help with any *practical* answers or information you can.

perl and php support both procedural and oo. Are Java and .Net all OO or do they also allow for procedural programming?

BTW: i was never a big fan of object - oriented :-)
because i just couldn t wrap my head around it :-)

So I wanted to upload my website to the web. I need a .com domain name- PHP 5- multiple MySQL databases- PHPMyAdmin- Apache- CGI and Perl support and the likes. Who do you recommend for a good price. It s alright if I have to sign up with a different company for the domain
